Scholarship Awards
Each year, the Orff-Zentrum München awards two scholarships out of funds provided by the Carl Orff Foundation, each worth EUR 750.- per month.
The aim of these scholarships is to allow users not resident in Munich to undertake a period of research at the Orff-Zentrum München. Support will primarily be given for dissertations in the fields of musicology, theatrical studies, classical philology, German philology and related subjects.
Applicants must have already completed a course of academic study. The research project should focus mainly on the life or work of Carl Orff. The term of the scholarship will be limited to one year and no extension will be possible.
Applications accompanied by a curriculum vitae, an exact description of the project (no more than five pages), a reference from the lecturer supervising the work, if appropriate, and copies of some publications (or seminar papers, degree thesis) must be received by the Orff-Zentrum München by no later than 30 September.
